A local endocrine service
Mr Lagattolla has always dealt with thyroid disorders, having been the only established thyroid surgeon in West Dorset for many years, and having set up an endocrine surgical service locally. He was thyroid cancer lead for West Dorset for over a decade in the past. He has written many papers and case reports on various types of endocrine procedures, and has pioneered several procedures himself. The BVP is keen to continue to offer an endocrine service locally at the BMI.
